I love to write. But I also love music and the challenges of creating innovative applications.
My literary work, 67 titles, including translations, for sale on amazon.com in December 2025, reflects my dedication to various themes including studies of religion, magical realism, adventure, humor, romance, and technical topics related to my main activity: software engineer.
Among my technology projects, I highlight two: the GNN news portals and the allclic website tracker. And this highlight is important because both are directly related, as I will explain further.
There are also several applications and websites I have created, some of which support some of my books, such as the Tax Reform Calculator that integrates with the book *A Reforma Tributária Brasileira*, which is a guide for implementing the RTC, and the website wsaxis.com, which provides tools for managing the Brazilian Electronic Invoice (NF-e).
I hope you enjoy this content. Thank you for your visit, and I am available via email at heronrobledo@gmail.com.
I have no hesitation in declaring that I am the number one fan of Gabriel García Márquez. But it is not only because of his works focused on magical realism; I also appreciate the journalistic tone of works such as News of a Kidnapping.
Another writer whom I greatly admire is Érico Veríssimo, the greatest among all writers of the Portuguese language whose works I have had the opportunity to know. And, without exaggeration, if José Saramago is worthy of a Nobel Prize, Érico would deserve ten.
I try, and only try, to be a mixture of Gabo and Érico, an ambition synthesized some time ago by a very generous admirer who stated that I am a teller of happy stories. That is what I am.
In my understanding, relaxed reading should not leave room for overthinking. It is like watching a movie and remembering it later, where not one scene or another stands out, but the content of the work as a whole. In a word, it should be just fun and entertainment.
In the case of the works below, whose content will take the reader to a magical and entertaining world, my purpose was to tell happy stories with characters and locations that, as fantastic as they are, in order to live in a happy world, could very well be real. These stories, deliberately — and I hope — are meant to be read “in one sitting” and forgotten until an unlikely rereading.
Even though I do not accept the dogmas imposed by the Catholic Church, the result of centuries of manipulation, and precisely for that reason, I grant myself the right to scrutinize history in search of evidence that strengthens my faith, which is great, true, and sincere, I assure you.
My first published book — and to this day the best-selling one — is THE PRIMITIVE CHURCH (PT), a translation I made of an original work, and which is the text, among so many I researched, that comes closest to the “truth” about the history of the Catholic Church. After it, I delved deeper into the subject and published the series of books listed below.
I would also highlight three others: THE INVENTION OF CATHOLIC LITURGY, SPIRITISM ACCORDING TO THE GOSPEL, and A FALSE BRIDGE TO GOD.
This is the genre that appeals to everyone. The adaptations I made of the work by Bernardo Gomes de Brito from archaic Portuguese into modern Portuguese, and from there into Spanish and English, resulted in true stories that hold the reader from beginning to end of each of these six fantastic real-life stories.
"Ana Is" portrays the power of artificial intelligence in a plot where feminine issues and values take center stage.
"The Theft of 500 Million" is a real story — shocking and unforgettable — that I followed when I was young and that I now revisit as a police and political plot with a touch of lyricism, humor, and romance.
No matter who it offends, I never miss a joke in a world where they are ready-made.
Hot reading! "Ana Is" appears here again, justifiably.
In the early days of “computing” — as it was called back then — many people like me learned by devouring books about programming.
In the same way, the implementation of the Electronic Invoice (NF-e) — a project invented by bureaucrats — was another major challenge, so complex that even today it frightens many people, even experienced ones.
But these two topics I mentioned are not the only ones that awakened my desire to disseminate my knowledge.
In this series of books, I address topics of specific interest. I mean, why would you buy a book that teaches how to take advantage of booking.com if you do not have a property that you can rent on a short-term basis?
The applications related to books can be accessed through keywords provided on the book pages. They are: “Database Form Creator” (Windows Desktop application) and “A Reforma Tributária Brasileira” (calculator).
These are free and can be accessed through the URLs below:
This is a subject that could require hours of good discussion. But I will summarize my ideas. And I will start by explaining why I decided to create a news portal.
From the point of view of the news consumer — people who enjoy being well informed — it has become impossible to read the day’s headlines and news without getting irritated. In fact, reading a news portal has become a torment; there is practically no news outlet that does not display intrusive ads and, when accessed, require irritating things from the user, such as authorization for cookie registration and sign-ups.
And from the advertiser’s point of view — the one who pays for you to click on ads — the media does not work. It is throwing money away.
That is why I decided to create the worldwide news aggregator GNN using this logic: if I cannot beat Google and I cannot beat Meta, I will compete with them. But I will create a decent news portal, where there will be ads, but without intrusions and disrespect; just clean news. In the current phase, although the purpose is the same, I have three portals that do the same thing — display news from 190 newspapers and portals from 30 countries — but with small differences. The news portals are, by far, my best work in software engineering. And the best way for you to evaluate them is by accessing the portals.
It has everything to do with the creation of GNN. When you publish an ad on Meta or Google, the reports provide details about access, visits, link clicks, etc.
But there came a point when I began to doubt these reports, because, as I said above, paid posts simply do not work.
So I created the website allclic.com, a “tracker” that follows the movements of visitors on a website. From which country, state, and city is the visitor? At what time did the event occur and what did they do on the site? Where did they click? What was the origin of the access? Was it through a Google search or did they type the URL directly into the browser?
As I mentioned, my main activity is that of a software engineer. I have some applications for company management. With the advent of the tax reform, anticipating the competition, I created an API for issuing NF-e that is sold as a service (SaaS). But with a major differentiator. When acquiring the service, the client receives, free of charge, an NF-e issuer with multi-company and multi-inventory features.
