Anno Domini MMMCDXIV (3414)
Anno Spiritus Veritatis MMXCVIII (2098)
Anno Rapto MMXCIX (2099)
In that time, Anno Domini MMMCDXIV, 1316 years of the Spiritus Veritatis (Spirit of Truth), 1315 years of the Rapto (Rapture), the Earth's Parents established the rules for the New Humanity to coexist peacefully with nature and animals.
There are no carnivores, nor viruses, bacteria, or deadly diseases. Only Fireflies and Bees exist as insects. All beings belong to the Creator and are equal in rights and duties. It is forbidden to eat a human or an animal, even fish.
Populations are controlled such that each female ovulates only once in life and bears only one child.
The only permitted worship is that of nature, peace, and harmony. There are no saints or images of saints. Not even the Earth's Parents or the Creator themselves should be worshipped.
The animals, not all of them, communicate with humans, and vice versa, through thought, simply by staring at each other.
Every male human born has their corresponding female, their Soul Mate, with whom they must, in adulthood and after marriage, bear a child and care for it until it is definitively handed over to their Soul Mate, in a perpetual cycle.
Inhabitants live for over three hundred years, dying only of old age, at which point they return to the Creator.
Each animal born must find its counterpart and in adulthood bear offspring and care for them until they find their Soul Mate, in a perpetual cycle.
Human children are born, each with a mark of one square centimeter on the inner side of their right forearm that never fades or changes shape or size. Only another child of the opposite sex possesses an identical mark, identifying them as soulmates.
Immediately after birth, the parents of boys make a clay tablet with their child's mark. Then, on a date determined by the wise elder Mater Omnium, the father, his son, and the tablet proceed to the "Festum Aequalitatis Animi," the "Celebration of Soul Correspondence," displaying themselves until they are identified by the mother of the corresponding girl, who then expresses her happiness amidst hugs, bows, and thanks.
